UnremarkableOnce upon a time, there was a little boy.   
Like all little boys, he had a name; like most, it was one his parents had given to him, and not one he’d had to make up in the privacy of his mind as a treat. His name was mundane, a typical, everyday little boy’s name, of little consequence as it did not serve its intended purpose of marking him out from the others. Then again, he did not need a name for the purpose of individuality. He was difficult and ethereal and content to be one of the many who looked up when his name was called out, because he somehow knew that difference was what lay within.

Leaving for university.

I've spent most of the day packing and in a little over an hour I will be leaving with my mum to drive to England so that I can live there for the next three years.

o___o

It's kind of weird that I'll never call my parents' house 'home' again. Good, but weird. ^_^ And it's fantastic that I have my own home. Okay, it's one tiny room in a huge flat, where I'll have to share one kitchen, two showers and four toilets with fifteen other people (dear god - at least one of them seems really nice though, and another one is pretty hot xD), but I have my own address, my own telephone number (landline)... I am SO cool. Ronan. Denize. When are you coming to visit? xD

Wish me luck everyone. I can't wait.

(Oh, before anyone asks, I'm not going to Cambridge, I'm going to Essex, and I'm going to be studying History & Literature - graduate at 20! - and I'm really excited and happy about it. xD)

Oh, and an afterthought: the thing that made me really happy the last time? Still making me happy. And my parents? They didn't ruin it. ^_^ And now I'm going to live in the same country as him!
